Import Parcel Data

Upload GeoJSON or Shapefile data from government sources

Select the source of your parcel data. This helps with field mapping.

Accepted formats: GeoJSON (.geojson, .json) or Shapefile (.zip archive)

Automatically link parcels to properties by PIN or ARN when available.

When PIN/ARN matching fails, use geometry to find properties whose coordinates fall within the parcel boundary. Recommended for Toronto Open Data which lacks PIN/ARN identifiers.

Data Source Guide

City of Toronto Open Data

Download property boundary data from open.toronto.ca. Look for "Property Boundaries" dataset (~500K parcels, 498MB GeoJSON or 49MB ZIP).

Note: Toronto data only has OBJECTID and F_TYPE fields - no PIN, ARN, or address. Enable "Spatial matching" to link parcels to properties by geometry. For address enrichment, use Spatial Matching with the Address Points dataset.

MPAC Assessment Data

Assessment data from the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation. Requires data license. See mpac.ca.

Ontario GeoHub

Provincial parcel data from Ontario's GeoHub. geohub.lio.gov.on.ca

Expected Fields
